West Houston Chapter Holiday Community Outreach Activities

West Houston Chapter members, reaching out to you for an opportunity to participate to community outreach this coming holiday season.
There are many identified family as struggling financially in the Katy area, Over the past few months, West Houston Chapter voted to bless them on Thanksgiving and Christmas with food baskets to six deserving families in the Katy area. Three families onThanksgiving and three families at Christmas, total of six families. The families had been identified by the community outreach department at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, St Vincent the Paul team.
To complete the food basket, we need 12 - $20 Grocery Gift Cards i.e HEB, Kroger, Aldi, Walmart for them to purchase perishable food including meat and milk. Each families will receive $40 gift cards as prices of meat and grocery in general had gone up.
Chapter members will have the option to purchase the items below, drop off at specific location( Houston Methodist West and MH Katy) on or before November 10 Wednesday or donate using chapter website and one of us will purchase the grocery items listed below.
