Research Study for Dissertation

 I am a doctoral learner under the direction of Dr. Joan Chambers in the College of Doctoral Studies at Grand Canyon University. My name is Mila Sprouse. I am conducting a research study to find out if there is a connection between inclusive leadership and work engagement. Additionally, to find out if affective commitment and creativity mediate the relationship between inclusive leadership and work engagement.

 I am recruiting nurses that meet these criteria:

  • Greater than 18 years old.
  • You are a critical care nurse.
  • You work in the gulf coast area hospitals in Texas.

 You cannot be in this study if:

  • Less than 18 years old.
  • You are not a critical care nurse.
  • You do not work in the gulf coast area hospitals in Texas.

The activities for this research project will include:

  • Take the survey online. The entire survey will take 10 minutes to complete.
  • The survey is available from July 15 30, 2020, to July 30, 2020.
  • Take the survey from any computer that you choose.
  • Click the survey link on social media sites. The survey link takes you to the survey site. Read and answer each survey question carefully. You may skip a survey question if you choose to. At the end of the survey, click submit.

Your participation in this study is voluntary.

All data in this study will be protected by making the SurveyMonkey® responses settings as anonymous. There will be no names associated with the responses. The computer file will be secured with a password. The paper data will be locked in a file cabinet. Data will be kept for three years. Thereafter, the electronic data will be deleted permanently. The paper data will be shredded.
