Position Description

Location: Houston, TX

Description: Travel RN – Emergency Department (780) | 7P-7A | 13 Weeks

Position Type: Travel Specialty: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Experience Required: Minimum 1 year Duration: 13 weeks Projected Start Date: June 16, 2025 Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts) Weekends & On-Call: Every other weekend, no on-call

Unit Details

Number of Beds: 28
Total Staff: 43
Staffing Structure:

Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 Sitters
Night Shift: (Details Needed)

Patient Ratios:

4:1 for Emergency Department Patients
6:1 for Holds

Equipment Utilized: Level 1 Transfuser, Ventilators
Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Pyxis ES

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have: Candidates without these qualifications will not be considered.

Emergency Department background

Preferred/Nice-to-Have: Candidates with these qualifications will be prioritized.

Previous experience in the HCA system

Common Procedures on Unit

Conscious Sedation
Administration of Critical Medications
